I want your quilt to look its very best so before your appointment, please follow these simple steps to ensure your quilt can be loaded onto the long arm machine:
* Your batting and backing must be 5" larger than your quilt top

* Your quilt top, batting and backing must be squared up on all sides
​
* Clip all loose threads (especially dark threads behind light fabrics)
​
* Your seams should be secure as machine foot can catch on open seams
​
* Make sure all pins have been removed
​
* Iron and press all seams flat on back of both the quilt top and the backing
​
* Fold your backing, batting, and quilt top separately
